Adding 3 New Spotlights in a Brighton Home Near Fiveways
I was called out recently to a lovely property near Fiveways in Brighton. The homeowner wanted to brighten up her living space by adding three new spotlights. Simple job on paper, but as always, it’s the details that matter.
The challenge was running the new cabling without too much disruption. In this case, I was able to carefully lift floorboards upstairs, run the cable in the ceiling void, and then mark out neat cut-outs for the new downlights. Because the property was an older style house, I made sure all connections were accessible and up to the current wiring regulations (BS 7671).
The end result? Three evenly spaced, dimmable spotlights that completely changed the feel of the room. What was once a bit dark and shadowy is now bright, modern, and welcoming. The customer was delighted – and best of all, the work was tidy, with minimal mess left behind.
